The world is a stupid place filled with stupid people. I might be one of them but I can at least admit when I’m wrong, change my opinion based off of new information, and acknowledge that I do not know everything. This doesn’t have much to do with with me but it does have a lot to do with stupid people who vote.

Looking at this years election all I can see in many cases is the idea that you are all being sold snake oil. Yeah, it always is in politics but there are certain candidates that it looks as if that is all they are. Some are just old school political scum like Hillary Clinton. She isn’t selling shit except the fact she thinks she deserves the nomination because she is just an egomaniac. She is a Clinton only the one with the least amount of charm. Chelsea who has very little going for he other than money and the breeding can at least smile and you don’t believe she is thinking about murdering puppies when she does. At the best of times Hillary looks like an evil alien wearing a people suit yelling love me. Enough with the Clintons, enough with the Bush’s, enough with that one guy that already dropped out.

All other candidates aside the two who I think are the definition or snake oil are Trump and Sanders. It might be for two different reasons since one might actually believe in his bullshit but that is all are, snake oil salesmen. They did tap into the problem with American politics though. The Absolut disillusionment and hatred the average person has for the political class. I get that. I’m there with you guys. I hate the DC elite shitwads just as much as you I just think you are all being taken for a ride. They are selling you the same bullshit populism and failed economic theories people have been pushing for centuries. Yeah some of the things they say might be good or even reasonable but that does not stop all the other bullshit. One is mostly nothing more than a demagogue and the other is just bribing idiots for votes off of an economic platform that anyone with sense should know could never be able to deliver a fraction of its promises.

To make is simple if you believe that Trumps believes half the shit he says and it isn’t just to get elected you are a fool and I find s strange that you will ignore his lies and then complain about Clinton’s lies. On the other side if you think that the crap that Sanders says is either constitutional or even affordable you are lying to yourself.

Now is you must know I’ll tell you of the two Trump would probably be the least worst of those two as president but as a person I like Sanders better. I don’t dislike Sanders I just think he is a fool. He is the guy in the middle of a pyramid scheme that actually believes the things he is selling. But honestly believing in something doesn’t make it correct and doesn’t mean you aren’t selling snake oil.

I have never liked Trump as a person. Yes I am biased against him in this regard. I can’t stand the guy and never have. I didn’t like him 20 years ago well before he ever tried to run for office before he even had his own annoying reality show. I think he is scum. He is the exact type of businessman that is the problem with money in politics. He was an always has been a corporatist. He used Eminent Domain to get the government to take other people homes and businesses so he could make a profit off of the land and then sent in his kickbacks to the politicians that helped him in the form of campaign contributions and such. If you don’t understand why I said corporatist look up the idea of crony capitalism. That is Donald Trump. Trump is the guy that uses politicians to get away with all of the horrible things we accuse big business of. Yeah I know when the system is rigged the loser is the one that doesn’t have his hand in the cookie jar but how about we hold fuckers to a higher standard for once. How about we stop electing people that use the government to make themselves and their friends rich. Trump is nothing more than this cancer metastasized and invigorated through populist rhetoric and bullshit. He is the other side of Politicians like Clinton, he is the businessman that is buying them. At least he in honest about it though, but that doesn’t make it right and that isn’t something to celebrate him for.

I understand though. People are angry and they are telling you what you want to hear. You are angry and they have tapped into it but they are the in many ways the cause of the problems that cause your misery. Trump has been selling away the present while Sanders is taking the selling of your future and trying to mortgage it for a 7th time.

And while Trump is trying to sell you on Corporatism Sanders if trying to bribe you with free shit no one can afford. Free college, free health care, free housing and free food. Are you sure that it is free? If it is free than the people supplying you with this health care, food, college and what not are working for your benefit without getting paid. What is a person called when they work for someone else’s benefit but does not get paid for their labor? To be honest they couldn’t even be called a slave. See a slave still costs the owner money. Yes they work for their master but the master still must feed, house and clothe them. You are asking to get the labor from these people but aren’t even willing to house and feed your own slaves. How sad are you that you can’t even take on the minimal responsibilities of a slave owner? Slavery is horrible and slave owners are fucking scum but you are less. You want the slave to have to work to feed himself and you. It’s a whole new level of exploitation. In Serfdom the lords was at least expected to protect his subjects. Is this what you are doing?

I’m going to go with a big fat no. No you are not doing anything and you are not contributing anything but you expect everything.

Sanders promises cannot be paid for. It doesn’t matter how much to tax the rich they cannot be payed. We can’t pay for the stupid shit we do now no matter how much we raise taxes. But since you are an idiot that thinks the world revolves around you you don’t really care as long as you get your’s right? We need to lower spending. Do you know what the Laffer Curve is? If you don’t you have no business talking about economics and taxation. Hell most people that do know what it is still shouldn’t. It was a general theory. It works but you need to remember that it isn’t a set amount just something you need to understand and deal with. If you have no idea what I just said you might as well consider yourself illiterate when it comes to economics. I’m a bloody accountant. I can’t say I’m a genius when it comes to economics but I do understand the idea of financial incentives. If you don’t you should. But what I really understand is debt. Debt is something you need to be very carful with. Temporary debt can be used to put yourself in a better situation but continuous debt is never good. It isn’t good if you are a business, if you are an individual and it isn’t good if you are a government. Think about this. If a company goes under their resources can then be bought and then used by other people that can do something with them and make a profit and help grow the economy. An Individual can move into a smaller home and try to build themselves back up. A government cannot collapse and sell off their assets to someone else that will build them into something else. A government collapse destroys a nation and the wealth of a nation. Granted sometimes a nation can come back but ask the Roman, Persian, Ottoman, and Austrian Empires where they are now? Ask yourself what are the consequences of the collapse of those empires?

We can’t afford either of these two idiots.

News Clips From Around The World Of Stupid

Yep it’s that time again, the time to make fun of some of the recent news stories.  I know you are all as excited as TSA agent when they see a small child so let’s get started.

Remember If You Don’t Support Cop Killers You Hate Children.

“Between negotiating for more benefits and teaching their students, the California Federation of Teachers has adopted a resolution of support for convicted cop-killer Mumia Abu-Jamal.”

I don’t need more of a reason to hate teachers unions than I already do (I went to public school).  But seriously this is what they are worried about?  A fucking cop killer?  The man was a racist and killed a cop over a traffic ticket and admitted to doing so.  Well until he realized he had a thousand useful idiots out there that would back him and did want to ride the lightning changed his tune.  I really don’t know how this guy hasn’t been executed yet other than bullshit, bullshit and more bullshit.  Anyway, of all the things the teachers union could be worried about they are worried about this?  50% of our children can’t read or compute at their grade level and we are yelling about a convicted cop killer?  For those of you who don’t remember how grades worked in school getting 50% on a test meant you failed.   No matter how stupid, ignorant or crazy the demands of the teachers unions are any time you disagree with them their only answer is to scream about how much you must hate children and then they waste their time on this crap?  How about this; if you want better pay and benefits show us the children are learning more and doing better in school and actually earn the higher paychecks.  Right now all you are doing is crying like babies and running off on idiotic crusades to help cop killers. Also California is broke, the country is broke how much money do you think there really is to spend?  I don’t hate teachers, although there are quite a few I did hate and I can honestly say most of the teachers I have had in my life dealing with the public schools were not very good with many being downright terrible, but I don’t hate them all.  I can say I had 4 good teachers sadly it doesn’t sound as good when you remember I had 4 good ones during 12 years of schooling and each year of schooling I had at least 6 teachers.  So for all the BS yelling about people hating children I look at it like this, if you support the teachers unions you are the ones who really hate children.

That and Mumia needs to get executed already.

Because Terrorists Have High Moral Standards

“Meet Nagla Al-Imam, an Egyptian lawyer who suggests a novel form of “resistance” for Palestinian “fighters” contra Israel: Sexually harass Israeli women.

Al-Iman assures us that this won’t lead to rape, because resistance fighters’ “morals” are much “loftier” than that. But even if it does, she says, Israeli women would have no “right” to be upset, for this would merely square them with the Palestinians whose land they rape. And “few things,” Al-Iman tells us “are as grave as the rape of land.”

You have to see it to believe it, folks.”

Yeah this would never lead to rape especially since the only countries I know about that punish rape victims for being raped are run by Moslems since Moslems never rape anyone ever.

Or murder kids…

I love the part where she is asked by the reporter if this is will get people to break sexual harassment laws and she just basically say we don’t have any so who cares.  She doesn’t even act like it’s a bad thing they don’t have any.  This lady literally says that while she knows these “freedom fighter” have such high morals that they would never rape a woman (because the Islamists in Iran never raped women in prison so they wouldn’t have to execute a virgin for example), but if they did who cares and the woman because she is Israeli has no right to be upset.  Yeah the woman deserved it for being Israeli. I really, really hate the Middle East.

Suicide Solution

“Disgraced politician John Edwards is said to be deeply depressed – to the point of being suicidal – over the prospect of a criminal trial that could end with him being jailed if found guilty.

The 57-year-old former Presidential candidate reportedly told a close friend: ‘I won’t go to jail. I’d kill myself first!’

Yeah, sounds like a great idea asshole.   You are such a piece of shit you cheated on your wife while she was dying of cancer and then you pull a bunch of illegal bullshit moves to try to hide it and what upsets you is the thought of going to jail and actually paying the consequences?  You still have children, your children just lost their mother and you and going to kill yourself and make them orphans instead of spending a year or two in jail?  I knew the guy was a piece of shit years ago but I didn’t know he was this bad (I’m not surprised though, I really wish I was, but I’m not).  OK this might all be bullshit I don’t know if it is true but if it is fucking hell.  The sad thing is the end of the article makes it sound like the person who wrote this is trying to make us feel bad for the guy.  No, no I do not, in fact I feel even less bad than I already did for him.  It doesn’t make me happy it just kinda makes me hate him, and I really don’t want to care about the fucker enough to hate him.

Apparently The U.N. Hasn’t Filled It’s Quotient Of Crazy This Month.

“UNITED NATIONS — Bolivia will this month table a draft United Nations treaty giving “Mother Earth” the same rights as humans — having just passed a domestic law that does the same for bugs, trees and all other natural things in the South American country.

The bid aims to have the UN recognize the Earth as a living entity that humans have sought to “dominate and exploit” — to the point that the “well-being and existence of many beings” is now threatened.”

This reminds me of the term “Watermelon”.  It’s someone who is green on the outside and red on the inside.  Meaning it’s a communist using environmental issues to push communism.  Especially since Bolivia’s laws specifically said they need to “end capitalism”.  The funy thing about this is that we are talking about the U.N.  Most of the member states of the U.N. are dictatorships with no freedom or human rights so are they going to give the earth the same rights they give their own people? I can’t wait till someone tries to say we are raping Mother Earth and Iran puts on trial for adultery and tries to stone her to death or China tries to throw Mother earth in Jail and execute her for saying something they don’t like and selling her organs on the black market.  Maybe Saudi Arabia will try to execute Mother Earth for apostasy or Cuba might try to jail her for reactionary thought.  The Sudan will try to sell her into slavery and England will bring her up on hate crimes charges for that natural disaster that hiss anyone who isn’t white.  And we can all have a good time yelling at Mother Earth because she doesn’t distribute her natural resources evenly and bring her up on trial for that.  It’s as if the U.N. is the longest running Monty Python sketch only it’s dead serious and there is always a chance it will get you killed, raped or starved to death.

Another question I has is if a natural disaster happens in a poor country do we charge Mother Nature with a hate crime or class warfare?

Obama Has The Worst Collection Of Pokemon.

“HONOLULU — The Honolulu Police Department confirmed that a close friend of President Barack Obama was arrested Monday in connection with a prostitution sting case.

Police arrested Bobby Titcomb, 49, a Punahou School classmate of Obama, at 9:40 p.m. in downtown Honolulu at the corner of Pohukaina and South streets. He was released after posting $500 bail, police said.

Police arrested four men in connection with a reverse prostitution sting involving a fake online female escort website, sources said.

The offense is considered a misdemeanor. Titcomb’s initial court appearance is scheduled May 2.

Titcomb usually spends the holidays with the president and his family when they spend time in Hawaii. He has been seen playing golf and attending picnics with the president.

The first family attended a barbecue at Ticomb’s Waialua home in December.”

There was the Racist, the Terrorist, the Communist what else does he need to collect them all?

Target Is A 13 Year Old Male In Possession Of A Tuna Sandwich And Some Pudding, Should I Take The Shot Sir?

“Chicago school bans some lunches brought from home

To encourage healthful eating, Chicago school doesn’t allow kids to bring lunches or certain snacks from home — and some parents, and many students, aren’t fans of the policy”

I don’t think it’s the responsibility of the schools to provide lunch for children it’s the parent’s job.  This is where we all pause for a moment so you can yell about how much I hate children.  OK now that we have that bullshit out of the way we can move on.  I remember the lunches when I was in school and healthy wasn’t the first word I would use to describe them but I’m sure Chicago runs their school lunch programs better than they ran Cabrini-Green.  I really don’t know if this is to take more control away from parents or just to line the pockets of the contractors that provide the school lunches (for a nice little donation during election time of course), but it doesn’t matter it’s wrong either way.  Yeah some parents won’t take care of their children but unless the state is going to put them in a group home there isn’t much you can do about that.  The thing is this is taking away the right of the parents that do take care of their children.  I remember the packed lunches I got when my parents still made them for me.  It was a sandwich (meat, cheese, lettuce, pickle and tomato) a small bag of chips/popcorn (oh noes!!!) and a piece of fruit (usually a banana, apple or orange).  Sounds like I got all the food groups covered there.  Then I switched to the school lunch program (because I was old enough to make my own lunch but was lazy so my parents just paid for the school lunch) and I ate pizza or nachos every day (because it was the only things they served that could be considered edible.    Hell the school lunches we so small I would get two of them every day.  Granted I never eat breakfast unless I work out in the morning so I always eat a large lunch but that doesn’t matter.  I’m not fat, I never was fat.  I wasn’t some health nut in school and only started to work out semi-regularly recently so that wasn’t why I wasn’t a fat ass as a kid.  It was because my parents threw me outside and told me to play, so I did and as I got older I did other things like play drums (if you practice for a while it’s a good workout).  If you are really worried about the kids make gym class more demanding that was the whole point if it to make kids get some exercise anyway so use it.  Forcing kids to eat the terrible school lunches is putting a Band-Aid on a severed limb.  You can tell yourself you are helping but you aren’t even pretending to get to the root of the problem.  Hell the whole point of school lunches in the first place was to make sure the kids whose parents weren’t taking care of them wouldn’t go hungry at lunch time because their parents were too poor or lazy to make the kid lunch and now we are using more and more tax dollars to feed kids whose parents have the money to feed their kids.  My tax dollars are going to feed the children of people that make more money than I do.  One of the kids I went to school with father was and still is a US Congressman.  Are you saying that kid needed the school to make him lunch or he would starve?  He did however leave the school after 2 years to transfer to a private school because our school sucked bad and he had pissed off one of the local gang members that went there.

More from the article:

Fernando Dominguez cut the figure of a young revolutionary leader during a recent lunch period at his elementary school.

“Who thinks the lunch is not good enough?” the seventh-grader shouted to his lunch mates in Spanish and English.

Dozens of hands flew in the air and fellow students shouted along: “We should bring our own lunch! We should bring our own lunch! We should bring our own lunch!”

Fernando waved his hand over the crowd and asked a visiting reporter: “Do you see the situation?”

I like this kid.

“At his public school, Little Village Academy on Chicago’s West Side, students are not allowed to pack lunches from home. Unless they have a medical excuse, they must eat the food served in the cafeteria.

Principal Elsa Carmona said her intention is to protect students from their own unhealthful food choices.”

Yes we must protect you from yourself, or your parents…

“Any school that bans homemade lunches also puts more money in the pockets of the district’s food provider, Chartwells-Thompson. The federal government pays the district for each free or reduced-price lunch taken, and the caterer receives a set fee from the district per lunch.”

And part of that money helps line people’s reelection campaigns.
“At Little Village, most students must take the meals served in the cafeteria or go hungry or both. During a recent visit to the school, dozens of students took the lunch but threw most of it in the garbage uneaten. Though CPS has improved the nutritional quality of its meals this year, it also has seen a drop-off in meal participation among students, many of whom say the food tastes bad.”

I know it’s a running joke that healthy food tastes bad but it’s not true.  Everyone loves beef stew and it’s not that hard to use low-fat beef and put a lot of vegetables in there, make it nice and healthy and serve it over rice or pasta.  Everyone loves stir-fry and it’s not that hard to make without using that much oil and it’s filled with healthy things.  You want a healthy burrito?  Throw in some black beans, lettuce, cheese, olives, onions, tomatoes and some rice and not only to you have a very good burrito but it tastes good and the kids would love it.  But you won’t do that because you think burritos aren’t healthy.   People act like the only thing you can eat is rice cakes and tofu burgers to eat healthy (at least 8% of rice cakes don’t taste like Styrofoam and ass, tofu on the other hand always tastes like shit).  It’s bullshit.  Hell you learn about the food pyramid in school and they can’t figure out how to use it to make healthy food that tastes good?

“For many CPS parents, the idea of forbidding home-packed lunches would be unthinkable. If their children do not qualify for free or reduced-price meals, such a policy would require them to pay $2.25 a day for food they don’t necessarily like.”

“We don’t spend anywhere close to that on my son’s daily intake of a sandwich (lovingly cut into the shape of a Star Wars ship), Goldfish crackers and milk,” education policy professor Diane Whitmore Schanzenbach wrote in an email. Her son attends Nettelhorst Elementary School in Lakeview. “Not only would mandatory school lunches worsen the dietary quality of most kids’ lunches at Nettelhorst, but it would also cost more out of pocket to most parents! There is no chance the parents would stand for that.”

Not only is this parent making her family is fed but she is taking the time to make it fun.  Think about how much better a child is going to do in school when they know that they have that lunch made with love for them every day.  It sounds a lot better than some grumpy lunch lady (it’s a stereotype I know but when I was in school it was 100% correct) dumping slop onto a tray.

I love the end of the article though.

“Many Little Village students claim that, given the opportunity, they would make sound choices.

“They’re afraid that we’ll all bring in greasy food instead of healthy food and it won’t be as good as what they give us at school,” said student Yesenia Gutierrez. “It’s really lame. If we could bring in our own lunches, everyone knows what they’d bring. For example, the vegetarians could bring in their own veggie food.”

“I would bring a sandwich or a Subway and maybe a juice,” said seventh-grader Ashley Valdez.

Second-grader Gerardo Ramos said, “I would bring a banana, orange and some grapes.”

“I would bring a juice and like a sandwich,” said fourth-grader Eric Sanchez.

“Sometimes I would bring the healthy stuff,” second-grader Julian Ruiz said, “but sometimes I would bring Lunchables.”

Is it always going to be that healthy?  No.  Who cares there is nothing wrong with a pizza, some fried chicken or a burger.  You just eat more than just that.  Sometimes you want a salad and sometimes you want hot-wings and there is nutritional value in both and there are things you get in one you can’t get in the other.  That’s why we have the food pyramid because you need it all, you just need it in the proper amounts.  Yesterday I have fried chicken, mash potatoes and green beans with bacon for lunch.  For dinner I had a very large salad.  I got everything I needed (other than the grains since I don’t think the breading is enough to qualify for the whole serving) but I live.  The other day I had a half a bag of potato chips and a giant bowl of broccoli for dinner.  Yeah my eating habits are weird but I get what I need.  See parents know what their children will eat.  They know the kid won’t eat brussel sprouts but they will eat green beans, carrots or corn.  I didn’t eat brussel sprouts or asparagus when I was a kid (I do now) but I loved broccoli and mixed vegetables as long as there wasn’t any types of squash or mushrooms in it (still won’t eat either).  And every kid will eat a fruit cup just as fast as they would eat Jell-o or pudding.  Parents know this and they know what their kid will eat and how to get them to eat healthy food yet for some reason the people running the school (many who have children) can’t figure this shit out.

I hate to admit when a dirty hippy is at least a little right but in this case I will.  Go to this link and it gives a nice suggestion on making a kid a healthy lunch they will eat  (you don’t need to use the organic/free-range/overpriced whatever they want you to though.  It’s about the bento boxes (they are not usually as fancy as the ones on the last link though) they have in Japan and a little bit on how to make them on your own.  The idea of a bento is that it’s a box with several compartments that you put different foods in and it is a common lunch thing in Japan.  I eat them quite often for lunch.  It’s usually a main dish, some rice, a vegetable, some pickles and some fruit but there are a lot of different varieties, I like the tonkatsu (it’s fried and breaded pork cutlet with this awesome sauce called tonkatsu sauce – the best being the Bulldog brand) or meat loaf ones.  There are ones made to be hot and ones made to be cold.  Either way, they are good and you can make them with different leftovers to save money.

After I wrote all this I say something that said the Principle in question backtracked and said she was taken out of context or that she didn’t mean to say what it sounded like she said.  It sounds more like when a bunch of people got angry she tried to back herself out of it.

Wendy’s Has New Fries And In Other News The Reporter May Have Been Paid To Plug A Different Food Joint In this Article.

“When Wendy’s (NYSE: WENNews) created its Natural Cut Fries With Sea Salt, which it introduced last fall and is now promoting in new TV ads this week, the company’s product development team found a way to leave the potato skins on, make the fries crispier and give them a much tastier flavor. What they didn’t manage to do, however, is make the fries an actual all-natural product. That, says CMO Ken Calwell, would be too difficult given fast food customers’ demands for items that are cheap and can be hoisted through a car window.”

Last time I checked has a whole section on advertisements masquerading as news.  This is one of those things.  The thing about it is why the lady that wrote the article keeps mentioning Five Guys as if they are either the greatest thing on the planet or the standard to what all food should be held too.  That or she got paid a bunch of money by Five Guys to act like that.   Now for the record I have never eaten at Five Guys and honestly I’m apathetic towards them.   Wendy’s on the other hand I have eaten and do like their food.  I even worked at a Wendy’s years ago (yes I worked at one and will still eat their food).   To me they are one of the better fast food joints but their fries always were a problem.  The problem with their fries was that half the time they were a little undercooked for my tastes.  Now when they were cooked long enough that they were all crunchy they were some of the best fast food fries you could get but a lot of time you had the undercooked kinda soggy ones and they just kind of sucked that way (as do all fries). But oh how I love a triple and a large chili.   I haven’t been able to try the new fries because they don’t have Wendy’s in Japan anymore so I can’t say if the new ones are better or not.  My problem with this article is that the reporter sounded like she wrote this article more to plug Five Guys rather than talk about the new Wendy’s fries.  I really want to say that Wendy’s having new fries isn’t news but at least this is in the financial part of Yahoo News so we can at least say it has some merit to people that are either investing in Wendy’s or thinking about it, but when it all comes down to it aren’t we all going to get the same information from the next commercial break?

Right Now There Is A Cop Drunk Dialing Your Girlfriend And A Sniveling Little Bureaucrat Touching Himself For Thinking This Whole Thing Up.

“Michigan: Police Search Cell Phones During Traffic Stops
ACLU seeks information on Michigan program that allows cops to download information from smart phones belonging to stopped motorists.

The Michigan State Police have a high-tech mobile forensics device that can be used to extract information from cell phones belonging to motorists stopped for minor traffic violations. The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Michigan last Wednesday demanded that state officials stop stonewalling freedom of information requests for information on the program.

ACLU learned that the police had acquired the cell phone scanning devices and in August 2008 filed an official request for records on the program, including logs of how the devices were used. The state police responded by saying they would provide the information only in return for a payment of $544,680. The ACLU found the charge outrageous.

“Law enforcement officers are known, on occasion, to encourage citizens to cooperate if they have nothing to hide,” ACLU staff attorney Mark P. Fancher wrote. “No less should be expected of law enforcement, and the Michigan State Police should be willing to assuage concerns that these powerful extraction devices are being used illegally by honoring our requests for cooperation and disclosure.”

A US Department of Justice test of the CelleBrite UFED used by Michigan police found the device could grab all of the photos and video off of an iPhone within one-and-a-half minutes. The device works with 3000 different phone models and can even defeat password protections.

“Complete extraction of existing, hidden, and deleted phone data, including call history, text messages, contacts, images, and geotags,” a CelleBrite brochure explains regarding the device’s capabilities. “The Physical Analyzer allows visualization of both existing and deleted locations on Google Earth. In addition, location information from GPS devices and image geotags can be mapped on Google Maps.”

The ACLU is concerned that these powerful capabilities are being quietly used to bypass Fourth Amendment protections against unreasonable searches.”

And every time I yell about the encroaching Orwellian state we are all trying to get to people call me paranoid.  I can’t wait till politicians and other state officials try to track down people that have their daughter’s phone numbers.  I can just see how that would go.

Police Officer:  So tell me Mr. Smythe why do you have a Kathy Johnson’s phone number in your phone?

Kyle Smythe:  Um, what is this about officer?

PO:  Just answer the question kid before you end up like you little friend Jimmy there!

KM:  Please officer, I didn’t do anything we have a group project due next week and needed to exchange numbers with the groups!

(Officer slaps child)

PO:  Don’t lie to me boy do you know who Miss Johnson is!?  Do you!?

(Child is crying)

KM:  Please officer, stop hitting me… We have social studies 5th period and Mrs. Nguyen has us doing a group project on Mesopotamia…

PO:  Well Senator Johnson seems to think otherwise?

KM:  What?

PO:  So am I to assume that you are just doing a “group project” with Miss. Johnson even though your parents voting record shows they voted for Senator Johnsons rival in the last election?

KM:  Sir, I’m 14, I don’t pay attention to that stuff.

(Officer slaps child)

PO:  Shut up and tell me why your parents donated 50 bucks to Senator Johnson’s rival in the last election and don’t lie to me boy!

KM:  Because apparently you and Senator Johnson are a bunch of fascist assholes and if I knew about this then I’d have told them to donate a lot more and spent less time playing X-Box and more time with the crazy militia guys that hang out in Baker’s Woods.

(Child passes out from blow to the head and scene fades to a picture of Kyle being led into a camp called Sunshine Farms Youth Reeducation Center).

So Does This Mean White People Can Get In On The Affirmative Action Policies Or Are They Still Not Allowed To Trick Or Treat At That House?

New census data confirm that some major metropolitan areas flipped from majority white to majority populations of minorities during the past decade.

White people are now in the minority in 46 of the nation’s 366 metro areas, including New York, Washington, San Diego, Las Vegas and Memphis, said William Frey, a demographer at the Brookings Institution.”

One thing I think is silly about this whole thing is they lump everyone that isn’t white into the same category of “Minority”, hell they even lump people that are white into the non-white (or minority) category like many Hispanics who are or 100% European decent but are somehow different than someone from Italy or Greece considering they are all of Mediterranean decent but the last two are jumped into the white (non-minority) category and the first into the minority category.      Anything to divide us I guess.

Honestly I could care less as long as they don’t vote for Progressives.

Out Of Fear That Nerds Might Try To Declare A Mulligan On History And Travel Back In Time To Support the Kuomintang China Bans Science Fiction Staple.

“Hong Kong, China (CNN) – China has been cracking down on dissent of late, as the recent detainment of artist Ai Weiwei suggests.

But the latest guidance on television programming from the State Administration of Radio Film and Television in China borders on the surreal – or, rather, an attack against the surreal.

New guidelines issued on March 31 discourage plot lines that contain elements of “fantasy, time-travel, random compilations of mythical stories, bizarre plots, absurd techniques, even propagating feudal superstitions, fatalism and reincarnation, ambiguous moral lessons, and a lack of positive thinking.”

“The government says … TV dramas shouldn’t have characters that travel back in time and rewrite history. They say this goes against Chinese heritage,” reports CNN’s Eunice Yoon. “They also say that myth, superstitions and reincarnation are all questionable.”

The Chinese censors seem to be especially sensitive these days. But for the television and film industry, such strictures would seem to eliminate any Chinese version of “Star Trek,” “The X-Files,” “Quantum Leap” or “Dr. Who.”  And does that mean rebroadcast of huge Hollywood moneymakers like “Back to the Future” and the “Terminator” series are now forbidden?”

All I can think is that the Chinese government thought that if people think to hard about time travel they might get crazy ideas like what would happen if we all went back in time and stopped the communists from taking over and murdering tens of millions of us and oppressing the ones that managed to live.  Also since the last thing a communist is, is sane, they might be worried that some poor dissident might get so engrossed in the concept of time travel he ends up finding a way to do it and does the world a favor by beating to death Mao Zedong to death on his 18th birthday and does the entire world and the Chinese people a huge favor.  He’d be the best superhero ever.  Think about it he could call himself The Vigilante of Time and it could be a TV show.  It would be if Quantum Leap was about a Chinese guy jumping through time putting a bullet in the head of every shithead who ever needed it before they got a chance to be the bastard they would grow up to be.  I’d watch that show.  Hell I have no idea why that show hasn’t already been made.  If this show is ever made I don’t want any money for the idea just give me a mention in the credits and make sure you have episodes where they take out Che Guevara, Karl Marx and Hitler.  Also one where they stop they guy who invented Auto-Tune (he doesn’t have to die just stop the invention).

And Duke University Still Has Their Fingers In Their Ears While Yelling “La, La La, I Can’t Hear You”.

Durham, N.C. — Family members of a man who was stabbed in his home April 3 say he died Wednesday evening. Crystal Mangum, the Durham woman who falsely accused three Duke University lacrosse players of rape in 2006, has been charged with assaulting him.

“Durham police confirmed Thursday morning that Reginald Daye, 46, had died.

“The case remains under investigation, and we do anticipate upgrading the charges. However, no new charges have been filed at this time,” police spokeswoman Kammie Michael said in an e-mail to WRAL News.

Police said Mangum, 32, stabbed Daye in the torso with a kitchen knife during a dispute at 3507 Century Oaks Drive early on April 3…

In February 2010, police arrested Mangum after an altercation between her and a different boyfriend. In that incident, she was accused of assaulting the man in front of her children and setting some of his clothes on fire.

She was later convicted of child abuse, injury to personal property and resisting a public officer in the case, but prosecutors dismissed an arson charge after a jury couldn’t reach a verdict.”

You know if they had just locked her up for the first round of bullshit this might not have happened.  Granted I don’t know how long a jail sentence you get for false accusations are (and even though I’m on the internets right now I’m not looking it up) but it might have at least stopped for a bit the progression of her offenses.  I wonder if Mike Nifong is punching himself in the face right now.  If he isn’t he should be.

I hate it here.

Further Updates On The Japanese Earthquake And Tsunami And Links To Charity Organizations So You Can Help Out.

I posted the other day on my experience during and immediately after the recent quake and tsunami so I think I will give some further updates.

Right now there are a lot of power problems because right now the area I live in lost about 30% of their electrical producing capacity.  Right now they have scheduled blackouts so they can push more power up north where they need it so we lose power for about 3 hours a day.  That and everyone are being encouraged to use as little power as possible when they do have it.  It’s a minor inconvenience I’m not about to bitch about though.  I am living off of canned and dry goods simply because I am trying to limit the amount of food I have to refrigerate since every day it’s going to shut off for a couple hours.  Some train lines have shut down for the most part and some are only running on 60% of their normal schedules to also help conserve energy and some companies have shut down production or limited production on things that are not immediately necessary for the same reason.   Really it’s not that bad.

And now the melt down scare.  This is not Chernobyl and we are not all going to die.  Yes some radiation has been released.  It’s not that bad.  Right next to the plant it’s not good but it’s not the end of the world.  The media has no idea what they are talking about and are just going nuts on sensationalism to make money.  Yes radiation has been detected Tokyo and Yokohama.  Now let me explain something to you.  Tokyo and Yokohama are not close to the plants that are problems.  We are hundreds of miles away.  And yes we have been hit with radiation from them but not a lot.  The amount of extra radiation (extra because everything and I mean everything has at least some radiation in it) is no more than what you get while on a plane ride from New York to California (about 1000 times less than the amount that gives you radiation poisoning).  X-rays give you a bigger dose.  Yes they told us to try to limit our time outside just to be on the safe side but unfortunately it’s not enough to let me join the X-Men next week.

Now I know why the media doesn’t tell you this.  It’s because they want to sell papers and ad space.  It’s the same reason Three Mile Island was a giant catastrophe even though it didn’t harm anyone.  Chernobyl was bad but we are talking about shitty Soviet workmanship and a bunch of scientists that ignored safety procedures so they could do some experiments while they were bored.  99% of the time what people call a “Melt Down” really just fucks up the plant and costs millions of dollars to fix.  Yes some radiation might leak but considering you got an x-ray last time you went to the dentist you really don’t need to worry that much.

Now the best media sensationalist bullshit is the morons screaming about the radiation being blown on the winds towards California.  With everything I know about California that is the least of you problems.  Even if there was a full the reactor people are worried about blows up into a mushroom cloud and nukes the surrounding areas buy the time the radiation was blown on the winds to Hawaii it would be so dispersed you would barely be able to register it and when it got to California it would still be healthier than the normal air quality of Los Angeles.  So calm the fuck down!

I’m not saying everything is hugs and puppies out here but pull your heads out of your asses and get the facts.  I’m not say something couldn’t happen and it could get really bad but it hasn’t yet and the chances that it does are small.

Anyway even though I may have insulted several people’s intelligence I am still going to ask for everyone’s help.   Please yes there are a lot of problems and there are a lot of people without homes and we need to help so please do.  I am going to give some websites you can go to so you can donate so do it because it you don’t when I finally join the X-Men you don’t want to be on our shit list.

I have some links to the Red Cross and some forums with information about different organizations so you can pick one:

This forum has a lot of different links to chose from.

This one is a Facebook page but there might be information that helps:

American Red Cross.

There also might be organizations you know and trust that you can go with.  My point is don’t just do nothing.  Even a small donation will help.  If every person in America gave one dollar that is 300 million dollars right there.  Add that to people around the world giving what they can and we can make a difference.  Yes I know most people won’t do shit but don’t be that person.  Well I have to go to help conserve electricity (something, believe me, I never thought I would ever say) but I will leave you with this.  Remember while this might not affect you, you know you would hope someone is there to help when you need it.

My Experience With The March 11th, 2011 Earthquake And Tsunami In Japan.

Any regular reader of this blog (all 6 of you) knows I live in Japan in the Tokyo/Yokohama area (about 230 mile away from the quakes epicenter) so I thought I would give my perspective on what happened yesterday.  I’m not going to get into everything you can just read in the news I’m just going to talk about my experience with the whole thing.  Earthquakes are quite common here and I rarely pay any attention to them.  If I am asleep I don’t usually wake up and if I do I go right back to sleep.  They are small or far enough away it doesn’t do much other than rattle a couple things and that is it.  This was a bit different.  I was at work at the time trying to finish up some last minute stuff so I could ditch out early.   It started off small and didn’t seem any worse than the last couple we’ve had here.  Only it kept going for longer than they usually do and kept getting worse and worse.  I work on the 3rd floor of a building (we only have 3 floors) and the building felt like it was swaying.  We have an outside staircase in the back next to my office so I walked outside on the balcony and it really felt like it swaying, almost like as if I was on a small boat out at sea.  At this point a bunch of the people who worked on the third floor started running out of the building and down the steps.  At the time I really didn’t know how bad everything really was so I was laughing at everyone but decided it best to follow along.  Running down the steps was an interesting experience considering the world was moving, I’m really not sure how no one fell over barreling down the steps but no one did.  Once outside in the parking lot I noticed all the cars were shaking and the outdoor pool across the street looked like a wave pool with the water splashing out of it a good 6 feet high.  I really don’t know how long it lasted but it felt like it was about 10 minutes from start to finish but I can’t really say.  Outside the world still felt like we were on a boat and several people spoke about how they were getting dizzy.  Most of the people were kind of laughing at each other and when it was over we all filed back into our offices to go back to work.  My work has a generator so we didn’t lose power or anything so at the time we didn’t know most of the area was blacked out (or when the blackout started).  I think it was about 20 minutes latter (I could be wrong my sense of time is terrible) we got hit with the aftershock.  Unlike the first one this was didn’t start out small but came roaring in strong (not as bad as the initial quake at its peak though).  At this point I said fuck it and shot out of the building strait off telling one of the bosses “Fuck this I’m getting a smoke”, to which he made a joke about how if I was going to die I had the right idea by picking my way out of this world.  Mind you, at this point most people we were in higher spirits than we might have otherwise been in if had we really known what was happening.  This one was kind of short though and after that we filed back into the building and the bosses told everyone to close up and go home considering it was almost the end of the day anyway and many of us had families we should be looking too and we all needed to get home to check our houses.  When I was leaving work was when I noticed the blackout since none of the traffic lights were working.  The drive home was fine other than the traffic lights being out and not enough cops for traffic control.  Surprisingly most people were driving with a lot of caution so it wasn’t that bad.   Traffic wasn’t bad going in my direction but it was miserable going in the other since the trains had all stopped running (something I didn’t know yet) and everyone was trying to pick up their families who would usually use the train to commute.

When I got home I realize that the power was out, I found a flashlight (I didn’t really need it yet but would latter) and checked my house.  I was lucky that nothing fell over other than a small stack of books that may have fallen over a month ago for all I was paying attention.  Other than the power everything was fine at my house so I ran to the small grocery store next to my house to grab some supplies like candles and maybe so food and water.  The water was sold out but the water worked at my house anyway (and I had a stockpile of beer to tide me over) so I bought some instant noodles, canned pasta sauce and some juice.  Although thinking about it now I wish I did get water because I didn’t think about the fact the water lines might be busted and the water might not be drinkable as I later found out many places in the north this had happened.  The store didn’t have candles and I had cracked open a beer during my house investigation (since I might as well drink it while it was still cold) so I could drive anywhere to get any (and the store might be closed anyway).  Just so you know the laws about driving drunk in Japan are so strict that half a beer will put you over the limit for a DUI (something I applaud).   Lucky for me I had a flashlight that I had bought on a whim a couple weeks ago when I was wandering around a hardware store looking for an AC adaptor and enough spare batteries.  Thank you Impulse Buying, I’d be screwed without you.   I tried to call people but my cell wasn’t working I didn’t manage some text messages but it was sporadic and some of them took 3 hours to get to their destination.  I don’t have a landline and I haven’t for years so I don’t know if they were cut in my area but I don’t think they were.

I still didn’t know how bad everything was so I was planning on going out for a few beers since I had nothing to really do at my house after it got dark.  So around 6:30 I walked to the train station hoping it was still running.  On my way I ended up bumping into a group of little old ladies who had ended up lost while looking for the train station.  Now my neighborhood is nothing but very small dark alleyways to begin with but with all the street lights out in was pitch black and I have no idea how many walls they walked into before I found them .  I had a flashlight so I took them to the station although it wasn’t working.  The guy working there said they might have the power on by 7 but it was iffy.  I parted ways since I was going back home and they were going to walk up this main street that we well lit only because of the traffic that was backed up for miles along it with people still trying to pick up their stranded families.  To say the least the lights did not come back on in my neighborhood at 7, although some people a little farther out from me said they got their power back on before the sun went down but most of the areas around Tokyo and Yokohama didn’t have power until much later.

I think there were a couple very small shakes during the night but nothing to write about.  One of the bad things about living in a Japanese house especially an old one is they don’t have insulation and the heat is electric.  It wasn’t that cold at first so I just bundled up and was fine.  I ended up playing acoustic guitar in the dark and drinking beer feeling like a goth redneck until I got tired of that feeling and decided to go for a walk.  I ended up walking about a mile or two down the main road I spoke of earlier and one of my friends in Okinawa called me.  I still could make calls but or get any from people in the area but he was able to get through.  He lives up north near where the earthquake hit and was away on business but his wife was home.  It turned out his place got trashed but nothing of value got broken and with wife was fine and some of the people he works with went and picked her up to take her and the dog to a shelter for the night so she was alright.  However very close to where they live was flooded from the tsunami.  I don’t pay attention to tsunami warnings although sometimes I should since I live about a mile from the ocean because I live in a cove that is protected by two large peninsulas and for the most part wouldn’t have to worry about them.  They did tell us to move to higher ground on the emergency PA systems they have set up everywhere but since none of my neighbors paid any attention to it.  When talking to my friends he told me I didn’t have to worry about the tsunami since by the time he had called it would have gone past my place anyway.  Before I got off the phone I had mentioned to him I was going to end up having to cook instant noodle in the stove since I have a gas stove so I could at least cook dinner by flashlight.  He reminded me of something I didn’t think about and that before I try to cook I better check the gas lines to make sure they were fine.  I told him they should be fine I hadn’t blown up the house when I lit a smoke earlier and we both laughed out asses off.  I was still going to check when I got home though.

Thinking about what he had said while walking home it started to bother me about what really happened and how bad it might have been had it been closer and how bad it might be up north.   Before that I hadn’t really know what was going on so I was in more or less high spirits (if not a little bored) but it was starting to sink in how lucky I was.  I still didn’t really know how bad it was yet but I had a bit of an idea it wasn’t good.

When I got home I checked the stove and was about to boil water for my instant noodle feast when I made an interesting discovery.   I couldn’t fine my tea kettle, I think I might have gotten rid of it at forgot to buy a new one.   So I ended up boiling water in a saucepan by flashlight.  I really wish I had candles.  Anyway dinner cooked I tried to read my flashlight until I got annoyed and went to sleep.  At this point it was starting to get cold and it was not a pleasant night wrapped in every blanket I own.  I think the power came on by two in the morning but I am not really sure since I sort of woke up for it and went right back to sleep without even bothering to turn them off.

Since I had gone to sleep at around 9 I ended up waking up at 5 in the morning and since the power was on I decided to try to get online to see how bad it really was.  I got online and was able to reply to the emails and Facebook posts asking if I was fine and post a message on my Facebook wall I was OK so my friends and family would stop freaking out.  At some point after 5:30-5:40 we had another aftershock and since by that point I had skimmed enough news reports to know it was bad it freaked me out a little and the internets cut off, but the power stayed on and it was only a small tremor.  The internets didn’t start working again for about 3 hours.

So that is about it.   I’m not going to sit around and worry too much, although considering all the time I spend drawing up plans on what to do in the event of a zombie attack I might want to spend a minute or two thinking about natural disasters past the “get beer and wait it out” plan.   Or maybe next time there is a quake I might not roll right over and go back to sleep.  I did buy some candles at the store today though so that is a step in the right direction.  I didn’t bother to find normal candles so they are all the fancy scented kind but who says I can’t ride out a disaster with aromatherapy?

I know I’m making light of everything a bit but it’s easier to do than sit here and get more freaked out than you need to be or let it get you down, and at least I didn’t make any Johnny cash jokes (or does saying that hint at the joke enough to count as a joke?).  It’s one thing to think about these things and tell yourself to get a little bit of a survival kit just in case something were to happen, and everyone should do that.  It’s another thing to dwell on it like it’s going to happen to you tomorrow.  Don’t get me wrong it could and being a little prepared is a good thing but thinking “It could have been me” and getting depressed after every disaster isn’t going to help your mental state.  Telling yourself “these things can happen so I better live life while I have it” however and really going out and doing it is the best thing you can do.  That and when these things do happen volunteer to help out, donate money, food or clothing.  Right now blankets or sleeping bags would probably be good because the power is still out in many places up north and it is cold up there.  If you aren’t in Japan it might be easier to find a charity or relief organization and send money since much of the supplies people need can be bought locally and will get there faster.   If you are religious give a little prayer for the people out there.

UPDATE:   I have posted some links to charity and relief organizations on another post.  Please click here and scroll to the bottom of the post to check them out.

In The World Of Who Cares Doormen Go On Strike

“It has been nearly two decades since New Yorkers faced their last doorman strike, but as the deadline for a new contract for building workers approached, the questions being posed throughout the city remained largely unchanged on Sunday.

Who will safeguard my apartment as I sleep? Greet my children when they come home from school? Accept deliveries? Clean the hallways? Sort the mail? Operate the elevator? And who, for goodness sake, will let the cleaning lady in?

Residents, co-op boards and building management companies have been busy planning for the sudden complications that could come at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday with the possible departure of the building workers who, among many other things, hold open the city’s doors.”

For the love of God don’t make me open the door to my own apartment building. What is this some third world country or the rest of the fucking planet?  Um let me put it this way door opening peoples, we are in a recession, you have a job, a job that is almost worthless.  What,  you don’t think it’s a pointless job?  Years ago they invented a machine that will do this automatically  yet they still can’t invent a machine to make fast food.  The 16 year old fry cook at Wendy’s can be considered “skilled labor” compared to a Doorman.  Just be happy you have a job.  People that graduated not only high school but college can’t get a job right now and you want to complain about it?

Let’s get to some of those pesky “questions” the people of NYC have:

Who will safeguard my apartment as I sleep?

It’s called a locked door, an alarm system and a loaded .45 and a shotgun.

Who will greet my children when they come home from school?

You.  They are your children, try talking to them once in a while and they wouldn’t be shooting up their schools, getting pregnant at 13 and idolizing rappers and other junkie.

Who will accept deliveries?

UPS/FEDEX/DHL leave a note if you are not home and you can pick it up after hours in their office.  You could also have it sent to your work so you can sign for it yourself.

Who will clean the hallways?

Find a broom if you can’t all pitch in and get a maid.

Who will sort the mail?

The mail man, it’s sort of their job.

Who will operate the elevator?

You can’t push a fucking button?  Are you serious?  You live on the 12th floor and can’t figure out that if you push the button that has a 12 on it the elevator will take you there?  Please kill yourself before you breed.

And who, for goodness sake, will let the cleaning lady in?*

Give her a key it’s not like you are there to make sure she’s not stealing shit anyway you might as well just give her a key.  Or just clean your own damn house.

Next you freaks are going to be asking me who is going to change the channel on your TV’s and remind you to breath.

Isn’t Doorman sexist, shouldn’t they be called Doorpersons now?

I hate New York…

I Think CNN Missed Some Facts: Norman Leboon vs Eric Cantor

“A 33-year-old Pennsylvania man has been arrested and charged with threatening to kill House Minority Whip Eric Cantor of Virginia, the No. 2 Republican in the U.S. House of Representatives, the Justice Department said Monday.

Norman Leboon of Philadelphia was charged in a two-count complaint with threatening to kill Cantor and his family. Leboon made the threat in a YouTube Internet video sent to Google this month, according to a Justice Department statement.

OK, so the guy was a nut and he was also and antisemite, fair enough, but then they said this in the article:

“A Justice Department official said there is no indication Leboon is part of a political group or made his threat against Cantor to advance a specific political cause.”

OK, so the guy was not part of any political groups, fair enough.  But what did CNN forget to point out?

From Politico:

“Leboon does not appear to be particularly politically active, but he does appear to have donated to President Barack Obama. On back-to-back days in June 2008, a man who called himself “Norman Leboon Sr” from Philadelphia gave $255 and $250 to Obama for America. The Democratic National Committee will donate $505 to charity if it was the same man that threatened Cantor. The DNC condemned the threats to Cantor and his family.”

Oh, CNN forgot to mention that this guy was a supporter of Obama and the Democrats.  That’s what they forgot.  I bet had he been a supporter of the Republican or had attended a Tea Party protest they would have mentioned that a million times.

Look violence from either side is not a good thing but the Media needs to stop trying to whitewash it away when it looks like it is from one side and reporting the hell out of it if it’s from the other.   The sad thing is this is the first recent case of threats and violence were  the person believed responsible has been found.  All the other cases are still open but people in the Media are building it up like a giant right-wing backlash without evidence that that is truly what it is and not lone psychopaths or plants trying to make it look like a right-wing backlash.

OK, are all the facts in?  No, but CNN could at least report the ones we do have.

On another note, will the Justice Department pretend this isn’t politically motivated just like they pretended that the Black Panthers – acting as Democratic poll watchers – were not trying to intimidate voters at Philadelphia polling stations?  Inquiring minds want to know.

MSNBC: Propaganda, Lies, Insane Douchebags And Dylan Ratigan

Is there anyone that works at MSNBC that isn’t crazy? There is a reason more people watch bass fishing competitions on T.V. every day than watch MSNBC in a month.  It’s because the entire channel is what happens when you give the lunatics at the Daily Kos a T.V. station.  Case in point the video you just watched.  Mr. Ratigan calls people Wingnuts right before going batshit insane.  He claims that people show up to the Tea parties yelling about killing black people, now if you aren’t stupid you know it’s made up.  We know it’s completely made up, we all know that if they were true MSNBC would be showing the video footage of it every five seconds.  The fact that they don’t is because they don’t have it, because it isn’t happening.  It’s a lie.  A very big insane lie.

This is the Tea Party movement:

Wait what?  There are people there that are not white and in the KKK?  OH NOES!!!  Oh, right they don’t have the KKK there, that’s because the KKK are all Democrats.  Now I remember.

Now it doesn’t  surprise be that MSNBC did this.  Remember when they claimed white racists brought guns to an Obama visit in Arizona?  Remember that lie?  You don’t?  Here is is:

Yeah this lie, the guy they showed with a gun was black, but with some good video editing you can make sure people don’t know that and claim a bunch of white racist showed up with guns (even if it was a black guy).

And on to other video of that day:

That wasn’t good enough try this:

See I told you it was a black guy.  But For some reason MSNBC is yelling about white racists?  It is sad when the show Red Eye has better journalists than you do.  It’s Red Eye, the show – while funny – spends most of it’s time making fun of itself and talking about unicorns and they have better journalists?  hell it was Greg Gutfeld from Red Eye that brought up the original video I started off with on the Big Hollywood blog.  really they guy spends all his time talking about unicorns and his missing pool boys yet he is a better journalist?
OK, back to the reporter in question.  The guys a lunatic, he just starts yelling and demanding answers but continues yelling the second the other guy tries to answer him.  Then he cuts him off for not answering the question even though he didn’t let him have a chance to answer.  The best part was the thing about propaganda.  Come the fuck on man, your ranting sounds like the “Five Minutes Of Hate” from the book 1984.  Not only that but you try to say the guy is spouting propaganda when you don’t even let him get a chance to speak, are you insane?  OK we know you are insane.  We have proof, but really, how do you keep your job?  Oh, wait… Never mind, you work at MSNBC a place so filled with lies and propaganda Walter Duranty would call you out on your bullshit.
Seriously, more people are willing to watch bass fishing than your network.

I’m not part of the Tea Party Movement, I live in Japan, we don’t have it here – we should but we don’t – but I support them and understand what they are about.  Smaller government, more accountability, lower taxes, less government spending and waste and the Constitution.  They’re good people, and they come in all backgrounds.  It’s not about race or class it’s about freedom and our Constitution.  It’s about normal people who are fed up with the bullshit coming out of D.C.  It’s the anger and alienation people feel about our elected officials and the fact our system is broken.    The fact that MSNBC have to call people they don’t agree with racist is because they don’t have any real argument against them, so they make things up.  I have no problem with commentary on news channels, it’s fine, the difference is that MSNBC is nothing but commentary and slanted news.  Other stations have bias, I accept that but they at least try to hide it and they differentiate between the commentary and the news programming.  MSNBC doesn’t even pretend that they aren’t propaganda and lies.  The sad thing is that sometimes propaganda isn’t a lie it’s just propaganda the way they tell it, MSNBC is just lies. It’s bullshit propaganda from the insane.

Thank you MSNBC for once again showing the world that Liberals and Progressives are batshit insane.  Thank you.
