Tax Day Tea Party. It’s time to make the Government listen to us!

Tax Day is almost here, it used to be on March 15th but I guess the government got so annoyed with the “Beware the Ides of March” jokes, they changed it to April 15th, so now the only joke is on us.  Well since it’s a holiday of sorts I guess we need to celebrate it don’t we, and since as of the last time I checked shooting politicians for sport was illegal (and possibly morally wrong but that’s still up in the air) we need to find another way to celebrate government theft.

On December 16, 1773, The Sons of Liberty, some of them disguised as American Indians, boarded three ships and, over the course of three hours, dumped 342 chests of tea into the Boston Harbor.  What better way to celebrate than to have a Tea Party!  All over the United States on April 15th, 2009, people will be getting together to tell the government that we are sick of them taking our hard earned money as well as leaving massive debts our children will be forced to pay and flushing it down the toilet for every hair brained unconstitutional scheme they can think of.   There have already been several Tea Parties across the country but on the April 15th it’s going to be the national protest, I encourage everyone to get involved and protest the governments threats on our liberty, freedom and property.

If you want to know how to find the protest nearest to you go to Tax Day Tea Party, they have all the information on how to find one.   Also they have a lot of ideas for signs and poster you might want to take with you.  Also if there is not one in your area you may still have time to help set one up.

This isn’t about partisan politics this is about the people telling the government what they think about the irresponsible behavior of our elected officials.  This is about showing DC that we will not be silent any longer while they politicians carve up this country for their own greed and power while we are stuck with the bill.

We are the New Sons of Liberty, this is our country, a Constitutional Republic, not a collection of Fiefdoms in bondage to our Congressional lords.  It’s time to hold the Government accountable to the people and accountable to the Constitution they swore to uphold, it’s time to make our voices heard, it’s time to take our country back!

Now remember there will be people and organizations such as ACORN that are going to try infiltrate the events to disrupt them, they may try to incite violence, they will do everything they can to make this look like nothing but a racist fringe group, crazy militia, or angry violence people, or some other lies, and not the group of concerned citizens it really is.  They are going to be there in order to make this movement look bad, do not let them, if you see someone that is trying to start any sort of disruption make sure to let the police know so that they cannot mar the events.  There are also organizations that are planning to hold their own Tea  Parties, these fake Tea Parties are only to make the whole thing look bad, so make sure you don’t go to one of those.  If someone is holding up a racist sign get them to leave, if they want to protest against the Tea Parties they can do it someplace else. We cannot let radicals highjack these events so they can have propaganda against us!  If something looks out of place let people know, take pictures, do not let these people destroy the message we are trying to get out.  Do not confront someone if they look like they will react violently get the police to do it and make sure the people around you are safe, do not use violence against anyone unless if is out of necessary self defense because you do not want to  ruin this for everyone, there are enough people that are going to try to ruin this from the outside don’t ruin it from within.  I repeat do not get violent and watch out for people that will for the intention of ruining it for everyone.
